Working principle

Traditional concepts. Modern technology.

The Golden Gloves (Zlatne rukavice) bioenergetic meridian massager connects traditional Chinese medicine ideas about meridians with modern controlled electrical stimulation technology — delivered as a massage by a practitioner wearing special gloves.

The core idea

Unobstructed flow as the basis of balance.

“Where there is no obstruction, there is no pain; where there is obstruction, there is pain.”

A saying of traditional Chinese medicine

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), this saying describes the idea that the unobstructed flow of life energy (Chi) and blood through the meridians supports the body's balance, while “obstructions” and congestion are associated with tension and discomfort.

Golden Gloves (Zlatne rukavice) uses this traditional framework as a starting point for wellness massage. It is a concept of traditional practice, not a diagnostic model of modern medicine.

How the system works

Three components, one massage.

According to the manufacturer, the device combines traditional teachings about meridians with modern technological solutions from the field of bioenergetics.

01

Control unit

Generates controlled electrical stimulation. Mode (Mode 1 / Mode 2), intensity and session duration are set on the device panel.

02

Conductive gloves

The practitioner wears gloves connected to the device, so the stimulation is felt where the hands touch — massage and stimulation happen at the same time.

03

TENS electrodes

Self-adhesive electrodes from the kit offer an alternative way to apply stimulation to selected areas of the body, according to the instructions.

Inspiration

Techniques of traditional Chinese medicine.

According to the manufacturer, the massager uses modern technology to convey the approach and feel of several well-known traditional techniques:

01

Acupuncture points

Focused work on points along the meridians known from acupuncture — without needles, through touch and stimulation.

02

Gua Sha

A traditional technique of long, directed strokes along the meridians, from which the massage borrows its rhythm and direction.

03

Tui Na

Traditional Chinese massage using pressure, kneading and rhythmic movements of the palms and fingers.

04

Moxibustion

TCM uses warming of specific points; the massage borrows the idea of warmth and relaxation.

05

Cupping

Traditional cups create suction on the skin; an inspiration for a deep, enveloping massage feel.

06

Modern stimulation

Controlled electrical stimulation brings these approaches together in one simple, repeatable wellness routine.

Golden Gloves (Zlatne rukavice) does not perform these techniques in a medical sense and does not replace them. It is a wellness massage inspired by these traditions.

Meridians

Meridians connect the whole body.

In Chinese medicine, meridians are described as energy pathways that run through the body in matching pairs, with many acupuncture points along each pathway. According to this teaching, they connect the five solid and six hollow organs with the limbs and are central to traditional techniques for balance and wellbeing.

The tradition describes massage along the meridians as “opening” these pathways and restoring the balance of Yin and Yang. Golden Gloves (Zlatne rukavice) uses this vocabulary as a framework for wellness massage.
